Cant download mods using mod organizer 2.2

I think this problem was made quite recently, you can download mods manually, and (whilst zipped) place them in your mod organizer downloads folder directly until the problem is fixed. edit: yes as Joseph said, probably has to do with the NMM update. edit: (problem solved) go to the Workarounds tab in the settings menu Estimated Reading Time: 2 mins.  · If a mod is hosted on the Nexus, you can add it to MO2 in two ways. One is to click Download With Manager under the file on the Nexus, and this will download it directly to your mod manager. The other is to click the Manual Download button, and this will download it to your download folder. I am at my wit's end. Mod Organizer 2 won't start Skyrim Special Edition with SKSE, launcher, or just the bltadwin.ru starts it up fine but with no mods. Every time I click 'Run' on any of these, the MO2 locked window pops up for a few seconds, my computer fans speed up as if the game is about to start, and then the fans go back to idle speed and the locked window disappears. Local mods are created in the RimWorld/Mods folder, and can be manually deleted, or deleted by clicking the corresponding button underneath the mod details. Note: You may want to occasionally delete obsolete local copies, as having many mods in the mod folder will make RimWorld take longer to start, and the Mod Manager window take longer to open. Mod Organizer 2 is a mod manager created by Tannin to support 64bit games like Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4 in addition to all the 32bit games MO1 already supported. Tannin discontinued the project when he was hired by the Nexus team to develop their new Vortex mod manager. MO2 was not completed and was left with many issues. It sounds like you're trying to download too many mods at once. If you download ten mods, MO2 will try to download them concurrently. Pausing works if you resume within a reasonable amount of time, but you don't want to pause a download and leave it for hours, the same as you wouldn't do this in a web browser.
